Sarchie is now a fundraiser for the Help 4 Heroes Charity.
We are so proud and delighted to offer our help for such a worthy charity. Those incredible men and women are so brave, but are often so young. It is so sad when a young life is lost, or when these honourable soldiers are injurred in the line of duty, they are so very brave.
We walk for miles as you can see from our website, Sarchie always attracts attention, so we thought it was an ideal opportunity to help a great charity on our routes. So you may see us on your travels, we are heading towards the Yorkshire Dales in August, hoping to climb Scafell Pike, then weather permitting Ben Nevis in the late autumn, so we will have done the 3 Peaks by the end of the year.
However, watch this space for what Georgie has in store for charity in 2012…..details will be released soon, and no doubt Georgie will have Sarchie in charge of her advertising campaign!
Sarchie and Georgina are always the ones out ahead flying the Help 4 Heroes flag and collecting for this great charity, Sarchie even has their badges on his collar. Sarchie and Georgie do a great job, and they are so appreciative of all those who donate and wish us well on our expeditions.
Sarchie and Angie run most days now, 5 miles is about average, but Sarchie loves it, and finds it a lot easier than Angie!
However Angie is aiming for a half marathon, and one day, perhaps a full marathon…….and all for charity of course.
